WJXT 4 and CW 17, part of Graham Media Group, are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Advertising Account Executive to join our CW 17 sales and business development team in Jacksonville. This role is ideal for a competitive, strategic sales professional who is passionate about delivering measurable business outcomes for clients.
CW 17 features popular network programming from the CW, including scripted dramas, reality series, and CW sports programming such as NASCAR, WWE, and ACC football and basketball—delivering a younger-skewing, highly engaged audience. This is an outside sales role focused on developing new and incremental business for CW 17, News4JAX.com, and our full suite of digital advertising solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new prospects, growing existing accounts, and building integrated cross-platform campaigns that include broadcast, digital, and streaming solutions designed to drive measurable client growth.
Success in this role requires a strong competitive mindset, business acumen, and a deep understanding of today’s evolving media and digital marketing landscape. The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-driven sales professional who excels at strategic thinking, collaboration, and consistent revenue generation.
Experience:
• Proactively prospect and develop new business for CW 17, News4JAX.com, and Omne Results using client and category insights
• Grow existing accounts by introducing full-funnel solutions across CW 17 and Omne Results
• Conduct weekly needs analyses and account reviews to identify client opportunities
• Develop customized, results-driven marketing strategies across broadcast, digital, and OTT/streaming platforms
• Generate new revenue through integrated campaigns, station initiatives, and special projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless campaign execution and performance
• Deliver compelling, data-driven presentations that align with client business objectives
• Negotiate effectively to maximize revenue and increase share of local TV spending in Jacksonville for CW 17
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce and in weekly meetings with sales management
Experience & Qualifications:
• Demonstrated proficiency in digital marketing, including audience targeting, programmatic, OTT/streaming platforms, social/search, and campaign analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and performance-driven strategies
• Proven ability to build and grow client relationships with a focus on measurable business outcomes
• Strong account management and new business development experience
• Exceptional client management skills—this includes, but is not limited to frequent communication, campaign organization, client expectations and performance reviews
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in broadcast, digital media, or advertising agency environments
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue goals
• Strong consultative selling and prospecting skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment in a rapidly changing industry
• Deep understanding of digital advertising, including targeting, analytics, and emerging technologies
• Strong marketing, presentation and closing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce preferred
• Experience with WideOrbit is a plus
• You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record acceptable to the company and reliable transportation for sales calls.
