John's spreading the words, "don't be fooled by a mild morning!" A major chill down is approaching
Thursday’s forecast is wildly different based on where you will be, because a cold front is moving through.
This also means, don't be fooled by a mild morning!
Thursday afternoon will be chilly and wet in Southeastern Georgia, temperatures will slide all day. Those who will be or live along the state line, including those living from Jacksonville northward, we will be cooler and cloudy, with a few showers as temperatures remain around 65°. Our Southern-most areas will be partly cloudy and warm, with near-80 degree highs. So across our forecast area, people will see an afternoon temperatures spread of about 30° from north to south.
Again, that’s the 50s in Georgia to the upper 70s in Gainesville, Palatka, and St Augustine.
That cold to the north will sweep across the area through the day and into Thursday night.
