A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Flagler County until 3:45 p.m. Impacts include blinding rainfall, lightning, strong winds and hail.
A Flood Warning has been issued for parts of Clay, Duval and St. Johns County until 4:30 p.m. Watch for local waterways, creeks & streams that you know flood easily.
Locally heavy downpours possible as slow moving storms form along a stalled front over northeast Florida. Greatest coverage across Northeast Florida. Due to the expected slow movement of convection, periods of heavy rainfall anticipated, especially in the greater Jacksonville area.
The boundary will dissipate overnight with patchy, dense fog possible.
Another cold front will move into the southeastern U.S> tomorrow with a prevailing flow from the southwest.
This will keep the east coast sea breeze from pushing inland pinning showers and storms east of highway 301, near and along I-95 to the beaches.
