JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Each year on the weekend before Thanksgiving, Bold City Church holds its annual turkey outreach.
This year the church aims to give away 1,500 turkeys on Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the Northside.

“Our entire church will be getting in the holiday spirit by providing the centerpiece of the Thanksgiving table to families in need for the eighth year in a row,” the church said.
Over 1,000 turkeys will be freely given at First Coast High School, feeding between 3,500 and 4,000 people and another 500 will be taken out and delivered to the community in the areas of Pollytown, Oceanway Village, and Monaco Arms.
Canned goods and sides will also be provided while supplies last.
