Pizza Emergency: Nassau County 5-year-old repeatedly calls 911 due to hankering for a cheesy slice

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – It was an emergency for pizza on Monday... at least for 5-year-old Xavier.
Xavier hankered for his favorite cheesy treat — pepperoni pizza — so he called 911 “multiple times” to assist him with his “emergency,” the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office shared in a Facebook post .
Deputies Terry, Dill, Fitzpatrick, Fields and Reifschnedier, and Domino’s Pizza teamed together to satisfy little Xavier’s pizza craving. But the delivery didn’t come without a lesson.
The deputies were sure to inform Xavier about using 911 for proper emergencies.
The situation wasn’t without its humor, as deputies reported that the 5-year-old thoroughly enjoyed his emergency pizza and they got a good laugh out of it as well.
