JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Saturday, Nov. 23 marked National Adoption Day.
To celebrate, we asked our News4JAX Insiders to share their adoption stories.

Whether it was a photo of the day they adopted their child, their adoption story, or just a family photo showing off their crew, we invited Insiders to upload photos and share their story.
According to LifeLong Adoptions, 1 in 35 children in the United States is adopted and an estimated 100,000 children are adopted through all adoption types every year. Although those numbers seem high, adoption rates in the United States are generally on the decline.
By choosing to adopt, you can enhance the lives of children worldwide and offer them opportunities they might not otherwise have.
