Baker County veteran spearheads effort to add military monument at Veterans Memorial Park off US 90
BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – Veterans Memorial Park off U.S. 90 in Baker County now has a special memorial marker dedicated to all from the county who served in the U.S. military.
U.S. Army veteran Larry Porterfield, who is from Baker County, helped bring the monument to the park.
He said he wanted to do his part to make sure those who have put on the uniform to protect our country are appreciated.
