JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – There's a health alert for parents. 

A new study shows many popular baby foods have tested positive for arsenic, which can be detrimental to children's development.

The Clean Label Project completed a study of more than 500 infant formulas and baby food products from 60 brands.

The study found 65 percent of baby food products tested had detectable levels of arsenic, and nearly 80 percent of infant formula samples tested positive for arsenic.

And, according to the data from the Clean Label Project, there are other chemicals in foods that parents need to be aware of. 

The study also found 36 percent of baby food products tested had detectable levels of lead, 58 percent had detectable levels of cadmium and 10 percent had detectable levels of acrylamides.
