Jacksonville catches Bieber fever

Teen fans swarm concert downtown

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Thousands of Jacksonville's 'teeny-boppers' dreams came true Wednesday night as they filed into the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena to see one of their idols, Justin Bieber.

Sarah Krehbiel, 15, was chomping at the bit to get into the concert. Krehbiel won a back stage pass to see Bieber behind the scenes.

"I'm overwhelmed, I can't believe it. Oh my gosh," said Krihbiel.

Hyperventilation seemed to be a common side effect for fans.

"Yeah, definitely, I have the fever right now," said one fan." "Yeah, a little flushed."

"I love you Justin Bieber," fans shouted as they waited for doors to open Wednesday night.

When asked what the Bieber fans loved the most about their pop-star romance, one fan replied, "Well, his singing's really good, and he's hot, he's really hot."

"I love Justin Bieber," screamed another fan.

"Oh my gosh, I love Justin Bieber," said Amelia Arwood. "He is perfect, his smile, his eyes, he is, oh my gosh, I love him so much."

Some of the screaming teens drove over state lines to see the show.

"We drove here from New Jersey," said Holland Engel. "Because I love him."

The Bieber concert started at 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
