Movie Review: 'Magnificent 7' spurs up action

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – "Magnificent 7" (PG-13)

A small town is taken over by Bartholomew Bogue, a greedy relentless businessman. Bogue wants to expand his land ownership by paying each homeowner less than what their land is worth and if they don't accept the offer, he will kill them. Bogue and his ruthless friends kill a couple of the men as an example and everyone is fearful.

Emma Cullen, a courageous wife whose husband was murdered by Bogue, finds Chisolm (Denzel Washington) a bounty hunter who is quick with a gun. Chisolm pulls together some of the best gun slinging men he can find and they battle with Bogue to give the town back to the people.

This film effectively takes you into the wild West with drama, action and humor.
