UK band UB40 brings ‘Relentless Tour’ to St. Augustine Amphitheatre

The Pop Reggae band UB40 stormed onto the music scene in 1978.

And now 48 years later, it’s still going strong and ready to bring its “Relentless Tour” to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Two of the band’s original members, Robin Campbell and Jimmy Brown, spoke with us on The Morning Show.

They talked about what it’s like to be playing their big hits, including “Red Red Wine” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love” to audiences old and new, these many years later.

They also discussed their new album UB45 and what the group that grew up in the MTV era thinks about music today on YouTube and TikTok.
