Avoid gameday traffic Saturday with the St. Johns River Taxi

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – There is another method of transportation being offered this weekend for those who want to avoid traffic when heading to the Georgia-Florida game on Saturday.

The St. Johns River Taxi is offering roundtrip tickets in advance. Those interested can pay $20 and select a pick-up location.

The taxi stops at Southbank Hotel, Doubletree, and Hyatt before the game — but after the game — there will be one stop on the Southbank at the Southbank Hotel and one stop on the Northbank near the Hyatt.

The website said: “It’s the best way to get to and from the stadium on game day! The river taxi stop is across the street from the stadium, a five-minute walk. These round-trip/all-day wristbands will be sold online for a limited time. Early check-in options will be available for wristband pickup! Be sure to select your preferred pick-up location from the options at checkout. We will run additional boats and we will start service at least 4 hours prior to kickoff! We will be on the docks early on game day to distribute wristbands. Please have your QR code readily available.”
