1 ea                       4.5 oz Baby brie                               

2 oz v                     Cranberry chutney

7                           Ciabatta toast

1 tsp                      Cajun spice        

.5 tsp                     Whole butter

1 sprig                    Mint

3 slices                   Sliced Apple

 

Method:

To prepare, wet brie with water and coat top and bottom with blackening spice. Place 1/4 tsp whole butter on very hot iron skillet. Place brie on top and blacken for 20 seconds. Add 1/4 teaspoon whole butter to pan and turn brie, cook 20 seconds. Remove from pan and place in 400 degree oven for 6 minutes until soft. Brush ciabatta sliced 1/4" thick with butter. Griddle on medium heat. Place toasts in a fan pattern. Place brie in center, leaning on toast. Place chutney next to brie and garnish with mint and apple slices.
