Celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Mexican food & drinks

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s Cinco de Mayo.

Did you know it’s not a major holiday in Mexico because it commemorates a regional military victory – the 1862 battle of Puebla and Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire.

Mexico gained its independence in September of that year.

But here in the U.S., it’s a traditional party day with Mexican food and drinks.

Our friends from Taco Lu in Jax Beach – Don and his son Henry Nichols joined us on The Morning Show to showcase some great food and drink ideas so you can plan your own party.
