Tom Coughlin was hired from Boston College to coach the NFL expansion team Jaguars. Jaguars owner Shad Khan fired Marrone one day after the end of a 1-15 season. He finished his tenure in Jacksonville with a 23-43 record and 2-1 in playoff games.
