Linda Abrams has a jewelry box full of beautiful earrings but many leave her feeling less than beautiful herself.
"As I've aged, I don't like the fact that my holes have gotten longer and earrings just don't look as good on me as they once did," she said.

Instead of surgical correction, she turned to South Florida dermatologist Dr. Janet Allenby.
"I think everybody knows that the face ages you, hands age you, even elbows age you, but I don't think everybody's quite aware that earlobes can age you," said Allenby.
Allenby said over time, earlobes can loose volume and start to shrivel.
"They turn from grapes to raisins," she said.
To remedy the problem, Allenby can inject any number of fillers to plump the earlobe up.
"We can use Restalyne, Juvederm, or Perlane. It's a nice improvement that's really inexpensive that changes the shape of the earlobe and also perks the earrings up," Allenby said.
The cost of the injections is about $600 and lasts for up to two years.
The neck and chest are also areas that can show age.
"The problem with the chest is it gets a tremendous amount of sun and it's usually from the car window so you'll see spotting you, you'll see a lot of sun damage and you'll see those vertical lines because the elastic tissue starts to go south," Allenby said.
Allenby uses and intense pulse light or IPL photofacial treatment to address discoloration, plus either the Pelleve or Fraxel laser to address skin tightening.
The combination of IPL plus Pelleve costs about $850, the cost of IPL plus the Fraxel costs $1000.
"These treatments really should be repeated about every 6 months. It's like anything, you need to maintain," said Allenby.
To address sagging skin and muscles in the neck, Allenby combines injections of Botox with the Pelleve laser for a cost of $650.
"If the sagging is severe, a surgical neck lift is the best bet but addressing changse early before they become severe can keep the neck area looking younger," she said.
After the injections, Abrams was looking forward to trying on some of her favorite earrings.
"It's nice and so simple, I'm excited," Abrams said.
