Mayor, COJ staffers rack up miles with Corporate Run No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The mayor and staff members of the City of Jacksonville added a few miles to their journey after participating in the annual Corporate Run 5K downtown Thursday evening.
The Corporate Run was held at Metropolitan Park where Mayor Lenny Curry and 115 members of his staff added 3.2 miles to his monthly “Mayorthon” total.
The event comes weeks after the launch of the COJ’s Journey to One health initiative.
Curry will also compete with 22 local CEOs in the CEO Competition.
More than 4,000 runners representing corporations, government agencies, financial institutions and local businesses participated in the Corporate Run 5K.
