EPIC! Jean-Claude Van Damme's Volvo ad goes viral Van Damme stars in Volvo's 'The Epic Stunt' ad
This isn't your typical auto ad - it is more like a trailer for an action movie. Jean-Claude Van Damme can be seen doing the splits between two semi-trucks in an ad for Volvo. It is quite amazing (if I do say so myself) for a 53-year-old guy.
The advertisement is called "The Epic Split". A lot of people are wondering whether the stunt is real or if it is just that - a stunt. Volvo says the ad is, indeed, the real deal. The automaker says some safety equipment was used but there was no green screen or computer generated images to help make the ad.
