Grand Jury Indicts Accused Bomber

Prosecutors Say William Jarvis Made Device That Killed His Ex-Wife

JACKSONVILLE – The case of a Jacksonville man accused of killing his ex-wife with a package bomb will move forward.

A grand jury Thursday indicted William Jarvis on four charges including first degree murder. That makes him eligible for the death penalty.

Police say that Jarvis left a bomb disguised as a Christmas gift at the front door of the home where his ex-wife was staying.

Lillian Jarvis was killed. Her mother and her boyfriend were seriously injured in the explosion.

William Jarvis has pleaded not guilty.
