Prosecutors Ask Death Penalty In Murders

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – The two accused of killing two men last Labor Day will face the death penalty when their trial begins later this year.

Attorney Stephen Kelley said Friday that he would seek to have Buddy Woodall, Jr., 26, and David Wimberly, 22, put to death by legal injection if they are convicted of malice murder and armed robbery.

The victims, John Lynn and Robert VanAllen, were murdered at a railroad crossing in isolated woods near the Glynn-Brantley county line.
