JSO Catches One Of Its 'Most Wanted'

Murder Suspect Samuel James Captured Thursday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One of the Jacksonville's Sheriff's Office most wanted suspects was arrested Thursday morning while police said he was trying to burglarize a business on the Northside.

Spence was found shot three times in March outside his van on East 25th. Police said it was drug-related murder.

On Monday police arrested Antwan Eugene Miller for the murder that they said was drug related, and continued looking for James.

After Thursday's arrest, only two people remain on the sheriff's list:

  • Charles Quaintance III, 22, wanted for the alleged drug-related slaying of Kenyatte Sykes on Aug. 13.
  • Kenneth Boggs, 33, who is wanted for allegedly killing a convicted cocaine dealer, William Gilliard, in his Cesery Boulevard home on Dec. 7.

Information on the two men has been put into the National Crime Information Center database to help authorities identify the suspects if they're picked up on other charges outside the state.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the men can call the Sheriff's Office at (904) 630-0500.
