On Sept. 4, Fred Rosier was found dead in his home.

Rosier's widow says she saw Demps pulling out of the driveway as she returned home. Police interviewed Demps just after the murder, asking that he surrender the shirt he was wearing at the time -- which he did.

Police say a DNA test shows that blood on the shirt match the victim's.

In the bank robbery, authorities said Demps handed over a check for $10,000 and demanded that a teller cash it. The check contained all of Demps' personal information, including his address.

Police found him at home later that afternoon.

Demps is now charged with murder and continues to be held in the Duval County Jail without bond and is due in court Nov. 21.
