Michele Wright is excited to join the morning show team as the new Channel 4 TimeSaver Traffic reporter.
She can also be seen each Wednesday night at 8 p.m. as the backstage reporter on WJXT's hit show, "Gimme The Mike!" She talks to each contestant after leaving the studio after their performances, giving them the last word after facing the judges.

When she is not on-air, Michele is a technology consultant focusing on SAP, human resources training and public relations to streamline practices in a variety of comprehensive technical business systems.
Born in Pensacola, Michele moved to Jacksonville when she was 9-year-old and proudly calls the First Coast home. She attended Florida State University, earning Bachelors of Science degrees in both political science and communication. She is actively pursuing her Master's Degree in communication.
While in college, she was chosen constituent advisor for Sen. Connie Mack.
She is most proud of her volunteer work, in which she gives of her time and talents for charity events. She is a well-known community leader and has appeared at numerous community functions as an active member of the NFL Alumnae Cheerleaders. Michele proudly cheered during the inaugural season for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
She is active in her church, RECLAIM Baptist Church, where she is a youth teacher and mentor. Michele enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching football, cooking, computers (she's a techie), reading, dancing and loving her new miniature Chihuahua puppy named Pooh Bear.
Michele is honored to be part of the Channel 4 news team. In this role, she utilizes her creative and energetic personality to inform viewers. She hopes to one day accomplish her dream of becoming a news or entertainment anchor or host of her own television show.
