Police Make Arrest In Teen Murder Case

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with killing a local teen.

Police arrested 19-year-old Major Brown. Brown has been charged with the March 13 slaying of 17-year-old Jamarius Wade.

The shooting took place behind an apartment in the 4000 block of Moncrief Road.

Wade was rushed to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center, but died of his injuries 10 days later.
