St. Johns Jewelry Heist Caught On Tape
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – St. Johns County sheriff's deputies said they are asking for the public's help to catch the thief who robbed a jewelry store on Wednesday.
This theft took place at night at the Zales Outlet in St. Augustine.
Surveillance cameras from inside the store show a man walking into the store and following a clerk to go see some diamond rings.
Investigators said the robber asked to see several rings and then pulled a black bag out of his pocket and took off with more than 40 diamond rings.
According to authorities, the rings are valued at more than $100,000.
Anyone with further information about the jewelry store robbery is asked to call Crimestoppers of St. Johns County at 888-277-TIPS.
