JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars recently made some cuts to its roster, but not the on-the-field type. This time it's two major front-office personnel who are out.
In just a few weeks, fans will file into the stadium for the Jags' first regular season home game. However, the team still has more than 4,000 tickets to sell to avoid a television blackout.

Now, two of the major players in charge of tickets and marketing for the team are no longer with the Jaguars.
In order to sell tickets, the Jaguars have flooded the airwaves and print media with their message -- Lets Do This!
Fan Todd Nussbaum said the message is reaching other Jaguars fans.
?I got a lot of friends that are big in to critiquing sports commercials. It?s got people talking,? Nussbaum said.
However, all the talk didn't seem to be enough to keep former director of marketing Jennifer Perkins and Scott Loft, the team's former executive director of ticket sales, employed by the Jaguars.
According to team spokesman Dan Edwards, both Perkins and Loft were laid off because of the tough economic climate currently faced by many businesses and not because of their performance.
With the season fast approaching and seats still empty for the upcoming games, fans said they're questioning the timing of the moves.
?It?s all about promotions. You can?t fire the guy doing the promotions trying to make the sales," one fan said. ?You still got Jacksonville support. It wouldn?t make any sense to me."
The question now is whether the Jaguars will fill the empty seats in order to avoid black outs. Now, they?ll have to do so without Perkins and Loft, two people who played a major role in getting the fans to come to the game.
?We go to see a winning game. We go to see a good game. It starts with us the fans. We?ve got to go to the games," said Jaguars fan Tommy Hoyte.
