This year's America's Next Top Model is from right here in Northeast Florida.
Whitney Thompson, of Atlantic Beach, walked the runway with style and poise to become the first full-figured model to win the reality-show competition.

Her family gathered with a crowd of fans at the Donner Community Center Wednesday to watch Whitney snag the title.
"I'm so excited for her. It's wonderful. It's an answer to a dream for her. All that hard work -- I'm so proud of her. She's a great girl -- really great," said Whitney's mother, Jeanine Thompson.
"The doors will open for her, and I think everyone else will get to see what beautiful person she if from the inside out. She's really just an incredible young lady, and she's a great role model for other young people. She rocks," said Whitney's father, David Thompson.
Former supermodel and lead judge Tyra Banks called Whitney simply, a beautiful woman.
As America's Next Top Model, Whitney won a contract with Elite Model Management, and a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl.
