Person Of Interest Sought In Fatal Shooting
Man Killed, Woman Hurt In December Shooting
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – More than two months after two people were shot during a home invasion on the Southside, police released a composite sketch of a person of interest in the case.
In mid-December, 21-year-old Rudolph Martin was killed and 22-year-old Katherine Jones hospitalized after an apartment home-invasion robbery and shooting at the Commons Apartments in the 1700 block of Anniston Road.
According to police, the two victims lived together in the apartment. Martin was found dead in a courtyard behind one of the buildings. Jones was in an apartment with a bullet wound to the leg.
Jacksonville police said the man pictured in the recently released composite sketch might have information about the shootings.
Anyone with information about the person in the sketch should call Crimestoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
