JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Tiger Woods' life drama has caught the eyes of millions, and that drama was intended to draw the laughs of thousands Sunday's Jaguars game.
But it might not have pleased everyone.

"Instead, they should be focusing on the fact that domestic violence is rampant, and both men and women are being beaten and many are being killed," said Sharon Youngerman, who works with domestic violence victims in Clay County at the Quigley House. "It's not anything to make fun of."

Youngerman said anything involving domestic violence is not a laughing matter.
"It really surprises me, because the Jaguars as a whole have really been proactive in the field of domestic violence, support the shelters, so it does surprise me," she said.
This isn't the only parody of the Woods situation. "Saturday Night Live" did a skit on the unfolding drama that is drawing similar criticism.
But not everyone takes it so seriously. Scott and Rachel Butterfield said this is a story about a celebrity who's going to be parodied.
"I don't think it's making light of domestic violence. It's typical celebrity stuff," Rachel Butterfield said. "I would expect it if it happened to someone else. I don't think they're picking on him particularly."
"I think they shouldn't take it that seriously," Scott Butterfield added. "I mean, it's a serious thing that he did. But domestic violence is a bad thing, but they're just having a good time with the story."
For those who deal with domestic violence, however, this is not a story they think anyone should have a good time with.
"I'm hoping and I'm certain it's just a fluke," Youngerman said.
