Man Arrested In Jan. 19 Shooting Death Police Charge Ex-Convict With Murder
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man has been arrested in connection with the Jan. 19 shooting death of Anthony Shockley at an Arlington home.
Jason Whiteside has been charged with murder, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Lt. Larry Schmitt announced at a news conference Friday afternoon.
Schmitt said the two men had an ongoing dispute for reasons unknown.
Whiteside, an ex-convict from New Jersey who served seven years for robbery, told several people he had killed Shockley and turned himself in Thursday, Schmitt said.
