An 18-year-old Marine assigned to Naval Station Kings Bay was arrested and accused of firing several shots the Woodbine home of his former girlfriend's family last month, narrowly missing hitting the two adults and four young children asleep inside.
Pfc. Elijah Dequan Isiah Hucks was arrested after an investigation by the Camden County Sheriff's Office, the FBI and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

According to authorities, Hucks "had become aggressive" after his girlfriend ended a relationship with him. In the early morning hours of Feb. 14, Hucks is accused of shooting into a home on Kinlaw Road.
Hucks was arrested last Friday and charged with six counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, two counts of influencing a witness and one count of making false statements. He was booked into the Camden County jail and ordered held without bond.
"The willful act of firing a weapon into an occupied residence terrorizes not only the occupants but the community at large and will not be tolerated," Camden County Sheriff Tommy Gregory said.
Gregory thanked his lead investigator, Rick Thompson, and NCIS Special Agent Tony Bain for their efforts in bringing Hucks to justice.
