Palm Coast Bank Robber Sought

PALM COAST, Fla. – Flagler County deputies are looking for the man they said robbed the Hancock Bank in the Palm Harbor Shopping Center in Palm Coast just before 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Witnesses told deputies the man entered the bank, walked up to the teller station and displayed what appeared to be a silver, small-caliber handgun, deputies said. They said the man demanded money, and after the teller complied, he fled in a white Oldsmobile Alero.

Deputies said the vehicle was last seen headed out of the shopping center parking lot toward Florida Park Drive.

The robber is described as a white man wearing a long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, a white hat and mirrored sunglasses. Witnesses said he was wearing a piece of dark clothing over his face.

The FBI was also called to the bank after the robbery.
