JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Former Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Lt. Reginald Lott pleaded guilty Wednesday to grand theft.
Lott, a 22-year veteran with the Sheriff's Office, was arrested earlier this year, accused of stealing $91,000 from the Brotherhood of Police Officers, a fraternal and charitable nonprofit organization where he volunteered.

According to the reports, Lott stole $40,000 on April 20, 2010, and the other $51,000 was stolen through checkcard transactions between June 2009 and Jan. 31.
Lott, 44, faces up to 15 years in prison when he's sentenced Aug. 8.
A fraud charge was dropped in the plea deal.
Lott retired from the Sheriff's Office after his arrest. Because the theft did not involve city funds, he gets to keep his pension.
