JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A group of local teens went to a hospital this weekend after a foam party inside a local club turned dangerous.
Angelo Gotschall, 15, says he still can't see well out of his left eye after a party he went to inside the Aqua Night Club on Saturday. Gotschall said that during the party, foam got into his eye and severely irritated it.

"It was blurry; (I) couldn't see anything out of my left eye, blurry and agitated," he said. "Some of the kids had it in both eyes and (were) crying because it burned so much."
A foam party is where people dance in large amounts of foam, sort of like dish soap. Gotschall said the foam used at Aqua burned his eyes and those of dozens of other teens.
"I went to the guy at the front door and asked for eye wash," Gotschall said. "He says it (the club) didn't have any; he said, 'Sit on the curb and wait until it goes away; (the) burning happens all the time.'"
Gotschall said the burning didn't go away and that he spent hours in the emergency room flushing out his eye. Dr. Allison Hitz-Vukich said the type of foam used could have caused the burning, but that it wouldn't necessarily affect everyone who came in contact with it.
"Some people are more sensitive to different agents than others," Hitz-Vukich said. "So it may be that somebody is sensitive to different fragrances."
Channel 4 tried to contact Aqua Night Club for information about the teens who were injured at the foam party. The phone number listed for the business was out of service, and no one was at the club when Channel 4's Scott Johnson stopped by.
