His bail was set at $25,002.

Investigators did not immediately release any further details on Odum's connection to the death.

Four other people have already been charged with allowing underage drinking at a house party where 21-year-old Aaron Douglas died, according to the Fernandina Beach Police Department.

Police said at least 16 people under 21 years old either drank or used illegal drugs while attending the May 12 party.

Neighbors found Douglas dead on a balcony of the two-story home, according to police. He had been vacationing in the area and apparently was invited to the party.

Others charged include 22-year-old Neal Clements, 21-year-old Nathanial Flanders, 24-year-old Daniel Stouter and 23-year-old Dana Luberto.

Douglas was a former player for Tennessee and played last season at Arizona Western Community College. He transferred to Alabama in January.

The medical examiner found methadone, marijuana, four different tranquilizers and muscle relaxants and oxycodone in Douglas' system, according to an autopsy report. No alcohol was found in his system, according to the report.

Douglas' cause of death was listed as multiple drug toxicity, or accidental drug overdose.

Douglas, of Maryville, Tenn., was a former offensive lineman at Tennessee, then left the program after two coaching changes and went to a junior college in Arizona. Douglas signed with Alabama in November and played with the second team in the Crimson Tide's spring game.
