Florida Educators Get Football Discounts

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The start of the new school year also means it?s time for football, and the Florida Department of Education continues its partnership with the Jaguars and the state's other National Football League teams to offer specially priced tickets for public school and district personnel.

?We continue to look for ways to show our gratitude to educators throughout the state and are thrilled to work with our local NFL teams to offer support for public education,? said DOE teacher liaison Kelly Seay. ?Florida?s teachers work tremendously hard to encourage a high standard of excellence for their students, and we hope they are able to take advantage of these discounted tickets to catch a game or two this year.?

For some games, eligible employees will see as much as 50 percent in savings over regular ticket prices.
