T.S. Ophelia's Strength Holds Steady In Atlantic Little Change In Strength Forecast For Next 48 Hours
MIAMI – Tropical Storm Ophelia's strength remained unchanged Wednesday afternoon as the storm continued to march westward in the Atlantic Ocean.
At 5 p.m. Wednesday, Ophelia was about 1,165 miles east of the Leeward Islands and was moving west at 16 mph.

Ophelia is forecast to continue moving in the same general direction through Thursday, with a gradual turn toward the west-northwest Friday.
The storm's maximum sustained winds were near 60 mph with higher gusts. Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center said little change in strength is forecast in the next two days.
