What is changing?
Beginning October 27, 2011, this website will be ending support for Internet Explorer 6 (IE6). To make sure the site will still work for you, you will now need to upgrade to a more modern browser such as Internet Explorer 9, Mozilla FireFox, Google Chrome or Apple Safari.
Why is IE6 going away?
Internet Explorer 6 is an outdated web browser that has a long history marked with security flaws. Internet Explorer 6 is not equipped to fight off today's computer security risks. Unlike newer browsers, IE6 runs with the ability to access most files on your computer, which leaves computers vulnerable to infiltration of viruses, adware, spyware or other computer programs that will wreak havoc on your system.

IE6 was introduced introduced over 10 years ago, it does not support many of the modern web standards and features. Newer browsers, such as IE9, allow web developers to easily develop web page layouts by industry standards, which in turn make features on the web more user friendly. Once websites drop support for IE6, web developers can stop developing for the outdated software.
Because of the many security problems and development restrictions posed by IE6 usage, Microsoft, creators of IE6, have now launch a countdown to it's demise. Watch the clock tick away to the end of IE6 here: theie6countdown.com.
