JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Duval County Clerk of Courts employee is accused of selling forms allowing driver's licenses to be reinstated, Clerk of Courts Jim Fuller announced at a news conference late Wednesday afternoon.
Shayla Odol is accused of hacking into the office's computer system and falsely printing the forms.
Fuller said "probably over 20" people bought forms from her.
"This form is called a D-6. It just means that when you get one, that all your fines and everything has been paid for, and you can then get your driver's license reinstated," Fuller said.
Odol has worked for the clerk's office since 2004. She was arrested at her office.
Fuller said the office is investigating one other employee, who has not been charged.
He said the people who bought the forms could also face charges.
Fuller said the investigation began in the last few weeks.
