JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Employees at a cell phone store in Mandarin are on alert Sunday night after a man walked in, forced an employee into a back office at gunpoint and emptied the store's safe the day before.
On surveillance video, a man went into the Metro PCS store on Old St. Augustine Road and pulled a gun out of his sweatshirt. He then forced the clerk to an office in the back of the store.

The robber was then seen walking out casually, as if nothing happened, one witness said.
"It's very scary, and you know, I have fear for my employee's life," Metro PCS franchise owner John Lee said.
Lee said his employee did the right thing by not fighting or arguing and just doing what the man wanted. He thinks the robber carefully planned out the theft and knew exactly where everything in the store was.
One employee who saw the surveillance video said the robber looked very familiar.
"The way he walks, I could have sworn he's been in our store before," Cheryl Medford said. "And it's like he knew where everything was."
