JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Tuesday on drug dealing charges, the Department of Justice said.

Elmario Clay, 38, pleaded guilty in September to dealing cocaine. Court documents said Clay carried guns while making deals and collecting debts.

Clay was carrying a Glock pistol when he was arrested on Jan. 12, officials said.

Based upon prior drug dealing and resisting arrest convictions, U.S. District Judge Marcia Morales Howard sentenced Clay to 30 years in federal prison.
