Sailor killed in single-car crash Another sailor left in critical condition
KINGS BAY, Ga. – A Navy sailor from the USS Wyoming in Kings Bay died Sunday from injuries as a result of a car crash that also injured another sailor.
Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Mark Dolan, 28, a native of Mundelein, Ill., was pronounced dead at the Southeast Health System Camden Campus Hospital.
Another sailor was injured as a result of the crash and was listed in critical condition Monday.
The crash happened on Scrubby Bluff Road at about 10:40 p.m. Saturday when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip. Both the driver and passenger were thrown from the vehicle.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
