Zagat rates Jacksonville restaurants Food fans can submit ratings until Sunday
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Zagat has begun grading restaurants in the River City.
Foodies have until this Sunday to submit ratings for more than 200 restaurants in Jacksonville. Connoisseurs rank food, decor, and service on a scale of zero to three.
In addition, there is a written portion where the more clever among us can draft a 400 word review that could possibly be published in one of Zagat's new online guides or books.
Zagat not only depends on what the locals think; they also send out their own 'mystery shoppers' to test the food. They eat a meal like a regular patron, then rate the restaurant in dozens of categories, including what they think plays a big role in the rating and whether restaurants will be able to snag your business.
