JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a man they said robbed an Advance America store on the Westside on Thursday evening.
Police said the man went into the store in the 5800 block of Normandy Boulevard about 7 p.m., displayed a gun and demanded money from the cashier. He then fled on foot with the money, police said.

The robber is described as a black man, 20-25 years old, 150-165 pounds, with long thin dreadlocks, a thin mustache, a U-shaped scar under his right eye, and a healing wound under his left cheek by his mouth. He had white gauze bandages covering his cheeks.
He was wearing a dark blue thermal shirt with a black tank top underneath, black athletic shorts with a white stripe, a black and white hat, and black shoes with white laces.
