WHAT DO YOU SEE AS THE TOP THREE ISSUES IN THIS RACE?
Stewardship, or the lack of.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP VOTERS IN A WAY OTHERS IN THIS RACE CAN'T?
- "I have spent my career in federal service, in the Navy Reserves and federal law enforcement and have a background in fraud and financial investigations. This is enhanced by my formal education in public administration which included courses in managerial finance, budgeting and finance, and human resources. Plus, I have nearly seven years experience as an instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. My career was within an environment of limited budgets and resources, but still with specific goals to accomplish. Of all the members currently on the board, and those running, I am by far the best qualified for the position and will use a critical eye in assessing and questioning all expenditures to insure every dollar spent is justified by how it enhances student learning."
WHAT WOULD YOU HOPE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR ACCOMPLISHING AFTER SERVING IN THIS OFFICE?
- "I would like nothing better for our students to enrich their learning experience, improve test scores, and receive more academic scholarships to top tier universities. This, combined with more vocational students honing the needed skills to enter the workforce with the knowledge and experience to become successful in their vocations."
