TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – One day after Florida Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll called allegations of a sexual encounter with a female staffer "outlandish," her accuser is now requesting that Carroll take a lie detector test, according to Florida News.
Carletha Cole, who was fired from Carroll's office in September, has been charged with illegally recording a conversation with a member of Gov. Rick Scott's staff and leaking it to reporters.

Cole claimed she was set up because she said she caught the lieutenant governor and her female travel aide, Beatriz Ramos, in a "compromising position."
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Ramos started a fire in Cole's trashcan after Ramos said she threw a partially smoked cigar in the garbage. FDLE conducted an arson investigation and ruled the fire an accident.
Channel 4 has obtained a letter claimed to be sent to the State Fire Marshal's Office that calls for an independent investigation and for "the Lieutenant Governor (to) voluntarily submit to a polygraph examination by an FBI polygrapher."
A spokeswoman says no such letter has been received by the Fire Marshal's Office.
Cole's attorneys are requesting the same for Ramos. The letter gives the State Fire Marshal's office until the end of Tuesday to respond.
If an investigation isn't launched by then, the FBI will be asked to intervene.
