JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A well-known Jacksonville psychiatrist made his first appearance in court Friday after his arrest Thursday morning on a DUI charge.
Dr. Mohamed Saleh, 59, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol on Interstate 95 northbound at Duval Road on the Northside. Officers said he was "unable to maintain a single lane," according to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office arrest report.

Police said Saleh failed their field sobriety test. Police said Saleh took a urine test, which checks for drugs in his system. The results are pending.
Saleh has been in practice for more than 30 years and specializes in forensic and addiction psychiatry. His main office on San Marco Boulevard was closed Friday.
Saleh was released from the Duval County jail Friday afternoon on $5,000 bond.
"If I was a judge and I read this report, we'd have to have another hearing because I wouldn't find there was probable cause for the man to be arrested at all. There's not enough facts," DUI attorney David Robbins said.
He said a DUI conviction could be devastating for the doctor's career. His license to practice would be reviewed, he could lose his ability to write prescriptions, and he may have to go through a physician treatment program. But Robbins said based on the police report, there are a lot of holes in the case.
"There's no odor of alcohol," Robbins said. "Did they ask him any questions on whether he took any medications of any kind? According to the report, no. Did they find any medication or pills in his car? Any kind of controlled substances in his car? According to this document, no."
