WHAT DO YOU SEE AS THE TOP THREE ISSUES IN THIS RACE?

  • Economy:
    Create Jobs:
By investing heavily in infrastructure with public-private partnerships. Reinvigorate our manufacturing sector by providing subsidies and tax incentives.
Tax credits and jobs programs to assimilate returning veterans into civilian workforce.
Balance the Budget:I will balance the budget and restore fiscal responsibility in government. I believe in responsibly reducing government spending through technological innovation, and cutting non-essential government programs through the implementation of cost effective programs. I will fight to preserve government accountability, promote responsible government spending, increasing efficiency in the government while cutting wasteful spending.
  • Protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid while charting a course for a balanced budget through tax reforms, spending cuts, and increased revenue through growing our economy.
  • Education:
Fund Early Childhood Education programs such as Head Start.
Provide funding and resources for after school programs, one-on-one tutoring, and mentoring programs.

  • HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP VOTERS IN A WAY OTHERS IN THIS RACE CAN'T?

    • "My greatest strength is the ability to understand people's problems and concerns, and develop solutions to complex problems. I understand the need to reduce taxes on small businesses to spur economic growth, and how draconian cuts to Medicare and Social Security will hurt our seniors and most vulnerable in society.

"When creating legislation, I will think about 3 individuals: a single parent, employed full time but still struggling to make ends meet, middle class families finding it harder to achieve the American dream and provide for their families, and small business owners, who see the system being rigged for wealthy corporations.

"Our nation is at a crossroads, and we have unprecedented challenges ahead of us. We need a laser like focus on the economy and create jobs by investing in infrastructure and re-invigorating our manufacturing sector. Second, we need take a balanced approach of increasing revenue and reducing spending, while protecting Medicare and Social Security to balance the budget. Finally, we need to reform our education system for the 21st century."

WHAT WOULD YOU HOPE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR ACCOMPLISHING AFTER SERVING IN THIS OFFICE?

    • "Substantial economic growth, Reinvigorated manufacturing sector, Balancing the Budget while protecting Medicare and Social Security, Education Reform, and bring our nation's infrastructure into the 21st century."
