He and his two co-defendants, Angela Nicolazzi and Brandon Rothenberg, drove around the Philips Highway area looking for someone to rob, prosecutors said.

They said the trio spotted Miguel Ordonez inside the Suntree Trailer Park. Nicolazzi approached Ordonez acting as a prostitute, while Golden held Ordonez up with a handgun, prosecutors said.

They said Golden then fired a shot at Ordonez while trying to take his money. The bullet hit Ordonez in the shoulder area.

Rothenberg admitted to also firing shots during the incident, prosecutors said. They said the crew then jumped back into their car and left the scene.

Golden must serve a minimum mandatory 20 years of his 40-year sentence. His two co-defendants pleaded guilty to the same charges in March.

Nicolazzi and Rothenberg will be sentenced the week of Sept. 4.
