Man, 21, arrested in robbery of taxi cab driver

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A 21-year-old St. Johns County man was identified and arrested Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery of a taxi cab driver last Thursday in the parking lot of 200 South Woodlawn Street.

Titarius Lyons was found with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service and brought in for questioning, according to the Sheriff's Office.

During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Lyons pulled a handgun on a the cab driver for Ancient City Taxi and demanded money. At the time, Lyons was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money, investigators said.

Lyons was booked into the St. Johns County jail, where he was being held with bail set at $51,000 in connection with the robbery, and no bond on two counts of violation of probation.
