Baker County corrections officer accused of sex with inmate 27-year-old charged with sexual battery

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A corrections officer is accused of having sex with a female inmate, according to the Baker County Sheriff's Office.
Tarrece Givens, 27, was arrested Monday on a charge of sexual battery on a person over 12 years of age by a correctional officer.
Givens began employment with the Sheriff's Office Detention Center on Sept. 30, 2011.
The complaint alleges that he was involved in the performance of a sex act with a female inmate housed at the Baker County Detention Center while on duty Jan. 29. Investigators said there are no indications or allegations that force was used, and therefore no injuries have been reported.
No other information was released.
